The Third Infantry Division and Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield partnered with the Savannah-Chatham County School System, the STARBASE Savannah Foundation, and Gulfstream to open the first-ever STARBASE Academy on an active-Army installation when STARBASE Savannah officially opened on Hunter Army Airfield.
The Department of Defense provides the funding for the staff of the Academy, while the private STARBASE Savannah Foundation, with the help of corporate sponsors such as Gulfstream, provides the classroom building and necessary tools for the students to use while learning.

Just like that our 2023-2024 School Year has come to a end! We went out with a bang doing water bottle rockets with Mr. Sacks and his awesome students from New Hampstead K-8 School.
We have had a blast this School Year and we would like to thank everyone for supporting Starbase Savannah in every possible way! We are looking forward to our Coding and Technology Camps this summer and our 2024-2025 School Year!😁
