STARBASE Savannah is located on Hunter Army Airfield – the first one ever to have been established on an Army installation.
The goal of STARBASE is to raise interest and improve children’s knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering and math. Local fifth graders from across Savannah experience a week of “hands-on” activities and interaction with military personnel to explore careers and observe applications in the real world.
Last week, we had Otis J. Brock, III Elementary School here with us! Ms. Douglas’s class was interviewed about what they want to be when they grow up and how it relates to STEM! It was a pleasure having this group with us 😊

Our 7th-8th grade session still has FOUR spots available!! All of our sessions are FREE of charge. Parent(s) are just responsible for transportation to and from the program and providing a non microwaveable lunch each day of the session!
